Precision Approach Path Indicator – PAPI - Aviation Guidance Light

Description

These units can be used to create the PAPI or APAPI systems used on Heliports or Airports .

The purpose is to signal the pilots if they are on the correct landing angle. Depending on the approach angle combination of white and red lights will be seen. More reds mean the angle is too low, more white means it is too high.

• Housing powder-coated aluminum, RAL 1004 (aviation yellow)
• Anti-glare visor powder-coated aluminum, RAL 1004 (gloss black)
• Diffuser hardened front glass for sandblasting protection
• Cable gland nickel-plated brass
